Vegreville Mayor Calls for Special Meeting Nov.25

Vegreville Mayor Tim MacPhee has called a special meeting tonight to discuss its proposed Temporary Mandatory Face Coverings Bylaw as well as the new provincial health restrictions that were announced yesterday.
The meeting will be livestreamed on the Town of Vegreville YouTube channel beginning at 6:30 pm
The proposed bylaw would temporarily mandate the wearing of face coverings in indoor public places and public vehicles.
An Employer or Proprietor must prominently display a sign in a location that is visible to a person immediately upon entering the public place or a public vehicle.
A person who commits an offence may face a fine of $100 and a business who does not comply with signage may face a fine of $200.
