The Town of Vegreville is saddened to learn of the passing of Don Mazankowski, former Member of Parliament for Vegreville and Deputy Prime Minister of Canada.
Mayor Tim MacPhee said, “Don was one of Vegreville’s most outstanding citizens. He was a relentless advocate for Vegreville and the region, and we still reap the benefits of his exceptional governance today. On behalf of the Town of Vegreville, I want to extend my condolences to the Mazankowski family during this difficult time.”
