Bear Sightings in Vegreville Prompts Public Warning

The Town of Vegreville has posted a warning to residents in light of recent bear sightings in the community.
The Facebook post reads: “Due to recent bear sightings, Alberta Fish & Wildlife Officers currently have a bear trap set within the Town of Vegreville. Please do not approach the trap and keep out of the area.
Residents may phone the Alberta Report a Poacher line at 1-800-642-3800 if you wish to report any bear sightings within the Town of Vegreville.”
