On May 10 additional restrictions for high case regions were put into effect by the Province.

According to the COVID-19 info for Albertans website, “Additional restrictions are in effect for regions with at least 30 active cases. These restrictions remain in place for at least three weeks, even if a community moves below the threshold, and will be extended if necessary.”

The Interactive Map stated that Veg/Minburn County has 47 active cases, Smoky Lake County has 37 active cases, Lamont County has 37 active cases, and Beaver County has 33 active cases; and are now under those additional restrictions. Two Hills County has 5 active cases.
