Major Crimes Unit to Investigate Sudden Death

Vegreville, Alta. – Following the death on June 2 of a 57-year-old male in a Vegreville hospital, the RCMP Major Crimes Unit (MCU) have been engaged by Vegreville RCMP to assist in the death investigation.
The investigation is in its very preliminary stages and no further information is available. An autopsy will be conducted later this week, and an update will be provided by the RCMP following the autopsy.
